EPA certification is mandatory for handling refrigerants in compliance with environmental regulations. **Roles and Responsibilities:** * Perform HVAC System Installation: Install new HVAC systems, ensuring proper sizing, placement, and connection of all components according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. * Conduct AC System Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in air conditioning systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and electrical components. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, coil cleaning, and system performance checks. * Execute Ductwork Installation & Repair: Install, modify, and repair ductwork systems to ensure proper airflow and energy efficiency. Seal leaks, insulate ducts, and optimize ductwork layouts to maximize system performance. * Manage Refrigerant Handling (EPA Certified): Handle refrigerants responsibly and in compliance with EPA regulations. Recover, recycle, and recharge refrigerants using appropriate equipment and procedures. Maintain accurate records of refrigerant usage and disposal. * Undertake Chiller Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on chillers, including cleaning, lubrication, and component replacement. Troubleshoot chiller malfunctions and implement effective solutions to restore optimal performance. * Troubleshoot and Diagnose: Accurately diagnose complex HVAC system problems using diagnostic tools and techniques. Identify root causes of malfunctions and implement effective repair strategies. * Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and system performance data. * Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, answering questions, and ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality. * Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
