Overview
Key Responsibilities: ???? New Business Development • Actively prospect through referrals, professional networks, events, and industry partnerships • Maintain a pipeline of at least 3x annual sales target • Use CRM systems to manage leads and client activity • Identify cross-selling opportunities across other Gibson service lines ???? Client Strategy & Relationship Management • Lead benefit and risk strategy development for new and existing accounts • Recommend tailored program structures and coverage strategies • Manage renewals, carrier proposals, and service timelines with internal teams • Ensure compliance with client expectations, regulations, and industry standards ???? Consulting & Risk Management • Analyze risk, claims, and benefit design trends • Educate clients on evolving insurance and benefits solutions • Build high-retention relationships through proactive advisory ________________________________________ Qualifications: ✅ Required: • Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance sales or a professional services consulting role • Proven success in managing and growing a book of business • Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills • Life & Health License (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire) • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM tools ✅ Preferred: • Bachelor’s degree • CEBS designation • Experience in employee benefits for mid-to-large groups • Background in independently owned insurance agencies ________________________________________ Ideal Candidate Profile: • Self-motivated and goal-driven • Confident presenter and skilled relationship builder • Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative advisory team • Enthusiastic about professional development and continuous learning
