We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as Ground Staff. In this vital role, you will be the face of our airline, responsible for ensuring a seamless, safe, and positive travel experience for our passengers from the moment they arrive at the airport until their flight departs. You will play a crucial part in the operational efficiency of our ground services, handling various responsibilities with professionalism and precision in a fast-paced aviation environment. This position is ideal for a proactive and communicative individual who thrives on helping people and is passionate about the airline industry. **Roles and Responsibilities** * Serve as the primary point of contact for passengers, providing exceptional customer service at check-in counters, departure gates, and arrival halls. * Efficiently manage passenger check-in procedures, verify travel documents, issue boarding passes, and assign seats using Airline Reservation Systems like Amadeus and Sabre. * Oversee and coordinate baggage handling processes, including check-in, tagging, and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with Baggage Handling System (BHS) operational standards. * Conduct pre-boarding passenger verification, manage the boarding and deplaning process, and make clear, concise announcements. * Assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, elderly passengers, and those with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety. * Adhere strictly to all aviation security screening procedures and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for all passengers and staff. * Utilize aviation radio communication protocols to effectively coordinate with flight crew, ramp agents, and other airport personnel for on-time departures. * Address and resolve passenger inquiries, concerns, and complaints with empathy and professionalism, providing timely and effective solutions. **Required Education**: A minimum of a 12th-grade pass or an equivalent high school diploma is required. This educational foundation is essential for comprehending complex operational procedures, effectively communicating with a diverse passenger base, and successfully completing the rigorous industry-specific training provided. **Job Industry**: This role is situated within the fast-paced and ever-evolving Aviation and Airline industry. The role may also include additional industry-standard benefits. **Job Type**: This is a permanent, Full-Time position. The nature of airport operations requires flexibility, and the role involves working in rotational shifts, which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays, to ensure continuous and smooth service. **Job Experience**: This is an excellent entry-level opportunity, and prior experience is not a prerequisite. Comprehensive, on-the-job training will be provided to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary for success. **Job Skills**: * **Passenger & Ground Operations**: A foundational understanding of ground staff responsibilities with a strong focus on delivering a seamless and high-quality passenger experience from kerbside to aircraft. * **Airline Reservation Systems**: Proficiency or a strong aptitude to be trained on industry-standard systems such as Amadeus and Sabre for managing reservations, ticketing, and passenger check-in. * **Baggage Handling System (BHS) Operation**: Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, the operational principles of automated baggage handling systems to ensure accurate and timely delivery of passenger luggage. * **Aviation Security Screening Procedures**: A thorough understanding of and commitment to upholding stringent security protocols to ensure the safety and security of the airport environment, passengers, and crew. * **Aviation Radio Communication Protocols**: Familiarity with standard radio communication etiquette and protocols for clear, concise, and effective coordination with flight crews, ramp services, and other ground personnel.
