Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in an infrastructure company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting project-based accounting specific to the infrastructure domain. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare financial statements and reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Maintain project cost records and track expenses against budgets. Assist in budgeting and forecasting for ongoing infrastructure projects. Monitor and report on project financial performance and profitability. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes. Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams for financial inputs. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter or M.Com preferred). 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the infrastructure or construction sector. Strong understanding of project-based accounting and cost control. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems). Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other relevant tax compliances in India. Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Accountant needed! Manage accounts payable/receivable, prepare financial reports, assist with audits.
