Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Oracle GoldenGate Consultant to join our Database Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database migrations, particularly using GoldenGate, and will be responsible for leading and executing complex database migration projects across on-premises and cloud environments. This is a challenging role that requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute large-scale database migration projects using Oracle GoldenGate. Design and implement GoldenGate configurations for homogeneous (Oracle to Oracle, SQL Server to SQL Server) and heterogeneous (Oracle to SQL Server, SQL Server to Oracle) migrations. Develop and implement data validation and reconciliation strategies to ensure data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle. Troubleshoot and resolve complex GoldenGate configuration and replication issues. Conduct in-depth analysis of source and target database environments to identify challenges and recommend mitigation strategies. Optimize GoldenGate performance for high-volume data replication and migration activities. Plan and execute cutover strategies to minimize downtime. Collaborate with application development, database administration, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration. Create and maintain detailed migration plans, documentation, and timelines. Provide expertise in both Oracle and SQL Server databases to support migration and troubleshooting efforts. Stay current with the latest GoldenGate features, industry trends, and best practices. Automate migration processes using scripting languages like Shell, Python, or PowerShell. Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and security policies during migration. Perform post-migration validation, performance tuning, and optimization of target environments. Mentor and guide junior team members on migration best practices and GoldenGate methodologies. Assist in evaluating and selecting appropriate migration tools and technologies.

Salary :

Minimum Salary : Rs. 60000/Per Month

Maximum Salary : Rs. 75000/Per Month
