Overview

**About The Role** Our Company is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Instrumentation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This pivotal role involves the design, development, installation, calibration, and maintenance of measurement and control systems used in industrial processes. The Instrumentation Engineer will ensure the precision, reliability, and efficiency of our operational systems, contributing directly to our commitment to excellence and innovation. You will be instrumental in optimizing performance, enhancing safety, and driving continuous improvement across our facilities. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, specify, and procure instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, and final control elements. * Develop and review Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and control system architecture. * Perform calibration, testing, and commissioning of new and existing instrumentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications. * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues related to instrumentation, control systems, and automation equipment. * Implement and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. * Ensure all instrumentation and control systems adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations (e.g., IEC 61511 for SIS), and company policies. * Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including process, electrical, mechanical, and operations personnel, throughout project lifecycles. * Manage instrumentation projects from conception through completion, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. * Conduct root cause analysis for instrumentation failures and implement corrective and preventive actions. * Optimize control strategies and system performance to improve process efficiency, product quality, and operational safety. **Requirements** * Proven experience as an Instrumentation Engineer in an industrial or manufacturing environment. * Strong understanding of control theory, process instrumentation principles, and industrial automation. * Proficiency in interpreting and developing engineering documentation, including P&IDs, electrical schematics, and functional specifications. * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues and perform accurate instrument calibration. * Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as ISA, IEC, API, and NFPA. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. * Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work. **Required Education** Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field. **Skills Required** * PLC/DCS Programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell Automation, ABB, Emerson DeltaV) * SCADA/HMI Development and Configuration * Industrial Communication Protocols (e.g., HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP) * Sensor Technologies (Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level, Analytical) * Control Valve Sizing, Selection, and Actuation * Calibration Techniques and Equipment * Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Functional Safety (IEC 61511/61508) * Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) Development and Interpretation * Industrial Networking and Cybersecurity Fundamentals * Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) * Data Acquisition and Analysis * Project Management Fundamentals
