**About The Role** Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Welding Fabricator to join our precision manufacturing team. This role is critical in producing high-quality components and structures that meet stringent specifications for our top-tier products. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional craftsmanship, a keen eye for detail, and a steadfast commitment to safety and quality in all fabrication processes. **Key Responsibilities** * Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to accurately plan fabrication layouts and sequences. * Perform various advanced welding processes, including MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Stick (SMAW), on diverse materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. * Cut, shape, and form metal components using precision equipment including plasma cutters, oxy-fuel torches, band saws, and press brakes. * Fit and assemble metal parts with high precision to create intricate structures and assemblies, ensuring dimensional accuracy. * Conduct thorough inspections of finished welds and fabricated components for quality, adherence to specifications, and structural integrity using appropriate measurement tools. * Operate and maintain a wide range of welding and fabrication equipment, ensuring optimal performance, calibration, and safety. * Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and company procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. * Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and other production team members to optimize fabrication processes and resolve technical challenges. * Perform grinding, finishing, and polishing of fabricated parts to achieve desired surface finishes and meet aesthetic requirements. * Execute routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness. **Requirements** * Proven expertise as a Welding Fabricator in a demanding manufacturing or industrial environment. * Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and apply information from complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. * Proficiency in multiple welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) across various material types and thicknesses. * Strong understanding of metal properties, fabrication principles, and structural integrity. * Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to producing high-quality, precise work. * Ability to safely and efficiently operate a wide range of fabrication tools and machinery. * Solid understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices specific to welding and metal fabrication. * Physical stamina and dexterity required for manual tasks, lifting, and working in various positions. **Required Education** * High School Diploma or GED. * Completion of a recognized vocational training program, technical school certification, or apprenticeship in Welding Technology or Metal Fabrication. **Skills Required** * MIG Welding (GMAW) * TIG Welding (GTAW) * Stick Welding (SMAW) * Blueprint Reading & Interpretation * Metal Fabrication & Forming * Plasma Cutting & Oxy-Fuel Cutting * Grinding & Finishing Techniques * Precision Measurement Tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges) * Material Science (Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum Alloys) * Quality Control & Inspection Procedures * Safety Protocols & PPE Usage * Welding Certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.6) * Hand & Power Tool Operation * Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting * Fixture & Jig Setup
