The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of projects that demonstrates their skills and experience. : Job Skills: We are looking for candidates with a strong command of the following technologies: * **MongoDB:** Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining MongoDB databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization. Experience with MongoDB Atlas and other cloud-based MongoDB services is a plus. * **Express.js:** Deep understanding of Express.js framework, including routing, middleware, and RESTful API design. Experience with building and deploying Express.js applications to production environments. * **React.js:** Extensive experience with React.js, including component-based architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), and React Hooks. Familiarity with React best practices and performance optimization techniques. * **Node.js:** Solid understanding of Node.js runtime environment, including asynchronous programming, event loops, and module management. Experience with building and deploying Node.js applications to production environments. * **JavaScript (ES6+):** Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features, data structures, and algorithms. Understanding of JavaScript design patterns and best practices. * **HTML/CSS:** Solid understanding of HTML and CSS, including responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less) is a plus. * **Git:** Proficiency in using Git for version control, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution. Experience with Git workflows and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab). * **RESTful APIs:** Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs. Understanding of API security principles and best practices. * **Testing:** Experience with writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests. Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress). * **Problem-solving:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues. * **Communication:** Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. **Roles and Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and performant web applications using the MERN stack. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define, design, and ship new features. * Write clean, well-documented, and testable code. * Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. * Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and development environments. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools. * Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development. * Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings. * Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). * Ensure the security and integrity of our applications and data.
